The Situation
A villa owner in Jumeirah had been living with a main door lock that had become progressively harder to turn. How We Approached It

We cleaned the mechanism thoroughly, lubricated it with a dry lubricant that will not attract more dust, and realigned the strike plate so the bolt travels freely. We also tightened the handle and hinge fixings that had loosened over years of use.
